Strawberry Chia Jam (Paleo & Vegan)

A naturally sweet, zesty jam thickened with chia seeds, no refined sugar, no pectin!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs strawberries, washed and chopped

  • 1/4 cup agave syrup (or sub with honey/maple for paleo)

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds


Instructions

  1. Add strawberries, agave syrup, lime zest, and juice to a large saucepan.

  2. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Lower heat to medium-low and mash with a potato masher as the strawberries soften.

  4. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.

  5. Stir in chia seeds and cook for 2 more minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

  7. Transfer to mason jars and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

    Serve With: Grain-free toast, coconut yogurt, or spooned over your favorite breakfast bowl.
