These nourishing cookies are more than just a treat , they’re a hormone-friendly powerhouse. Packed with ingredients that naturally support estrogen balance, blood sugar stability, and inflammation reduction, they make the perfect snack for women looking to nourish their bodies with intention.
Why They’re Good for Women’s Hormone Health:
Sesame seeds are rich in lignans and healthy fats, which may help balance estrogen levels and support the body during different phases of the menstrual cycle.
Tahini, made from ground sesame seeds, is high in zinc and magnesium, key minerals for reproductive health and adrenal support.
Almond flour is a great source of protein and vitamin E, helping to keep blood sugar stable while supporting skin and cellular health.
Raw honey offers gentle sweetness without spiking blood sugar and includes antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress.
Ingredients:
½ cup organic sesame seeds (for rolling)
1 ½ cups organic almond flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon sea salt
⅓ cup raw honey
⅓ cup organic tahini (made with just sesame seeds)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spread sesame seeds on a plate for rolling.
In a small bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
In a separate large bowl, stir together the tahini, raw honey, and vanilla until smooth.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until fully combined.
Using a cookie scoop, form dough into small balls. Roll each ball in sesame seeds, then flatten into ¼-inch thick rounds.
Place on baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8–10 minutes
Cool on a rack before serving. Enjoy with a warm herbal tea for an extra hormone-loving ritual.
Wellness Cami Tip:
Enjoy these cookies during the luteal phase of your cycle (the week before your period) when your body needs extra magnesium, healthy fats, and hormone-supportive nutrients.
