Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup avocado oil

  • ¼ cup maple syrup 

  • 1 large egg 

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 3 cups natural almond flour or blanched almond meal 

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp sea salt

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.

  3. In another bowl, combine avocado oil and maple syrup. Mix until creamy, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add the egg, egg whites, and optional extracts. Mix for 2 more minutes until smooth.

  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  6. Fold in dark chocolate chips

  7. Scoop large tablespoons of dough onto your baking sheets, spacing them 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly to about 1-inch thick.

  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until set and golden around the edges.

  9. Let cool slightly before enjoying warm or storing for later.
